The AutoBins sensor can detect movement more than a foot above the lid, allowing for unprecedented convenience and ease in dispensing trash.  There is no need to step on a pedal or bend down and get your hands dirty.  With the AutoBin, throwing garbage out is a breeze. The AutoBin can be operated manually simply by pressing the open and close buttons.  Pressing the close button a second time resets the AutoBin to automatic mode.
