This Laughing Buddha holds a bubbling fountain in his hands. The LEDs add a lovely glow that is especially attractive in a darkened room.< The water bubbles up and flows down into the basin below. The sound of running water adds peace and serenity to the atmosphere. A wonderful addition for a quiet corner of your home.

Completely unpack all the fountain parts. You should have a base, upper section, clear water supply tube with LED light and pump / transformer unit.
Place your fountain base on a hard, level surface that will not be damaged by moisture.
Fill the base about 2/3 full with distilled water.
Set the flow control on the front of the pump close to the lowest setting (-).
Insert the LED into the hole in the upper section. Make sure to pass the power cord down through the top first and seat it in the groove. Connect the power cord and the clear water supply tube to the pump.
Center the upper section onto the base, making sure the power cord and connector go through the opening and over the back of the base.
Plug the transformer into any GFCI outlet that has been installed in accordance with state and local building codes. (Caution: Water may surge upon startup.)
Make sure the power cord hangs below the outlet so that it creates a drip loop. This will prevent water from accidentally running down the power cord into the outlet.
Check the water level every couple of days and refill as necessary. During operation the pump must be completely covered with water.
If you plan to be away for more than a couple of days, unplug your fountain.
