Installation Instructions Garden Kit A & B
1. Screw filter and pressure regulator onto existing garden hose or
faucet.
2. Attach female hose swivel to LLDPE hose and regulator
3. Place hose across rows to be watered. Use hose tees and ball
valves to arrange & operate system as desired.
4. Cut drip tape to desired lengths and place along rows. The drip
tape may/should be buried.
5. At each row, punch a hole in the hose and connect the hose to
the drip tape using the supplied adapter.
6. Flush system at least two times by running water before closing
ends.
7. Close end of LLDPE hose using figure 8.
8. Close ends of tape as shown, or with auto-drain valves.
9. For best response, irrigate every day or two. Always keep the
soil very moist; but avoid flooding the root zone.
10. An optional mechanical or battery water timer can be used to
control the system.
11. Water soluable fertilizers and other chemicals may/should be
applied with the system by using an optional chemical injector.
Type of system will determine which injector is needed.
12. When water is no longer needed on a row, remove the adapter
and plug the hose. Or use an optional tape x hose adapter with
ball valve.
13. A backflow preventer should be used to protect the water
supply against contamination.
