Effortless motion is required to get it up from folded away position to completely opened. Due to light weight design, the structure can be lifted by virtually any one person, and stays secure once the two side rails are inserted into the wall holders.

The Motion

The Sunshine Washline is made of textured Aluminium tubing to keep a lightweight balance and UV PVC roofing staggered in design to filter and exit fallen rain and leaves away from the garments or dry-hanging areas. Furthermore, the structure folds away flush against the supporting wall when not in use, therefore saving space. Tightened nylon based chord is used to cover the dry-hanging area which due to its stretching properties allow for a reasonable weight load, always balanced.

The Mechanism

This lightweight fold down Washline, has a transparent UV protected PVC roof enabling the sun rays to penetrate through onto the washing garments, yet protecting them from the elements, e.g. Rain, Falling leaves, Bird droppings, etc.
