Standard Vented Copper Solar Cylinders:
Our twin coil and triple coil solar cylinders are specifically designed to work in conjunction with the domestic heating system. These cylinders are manufactured with either two or three independent coils. One or two to transfer heat from an independent heating source, (e.g. central heating boiler or solid fuel) ,And the other, which is manufactured from high efficiency finned tube with a high heating surface, to transfer heat from the solar panels. The boiler coil which (if fitted) is manufactured to BS 1566 and can be fitted with 28mm compression connections or 22 mm compression connections. The high efficiency solar coil can be fitted with 22 mm compression or 15mm compression. We normally fit 22mm compression fittings to the heating coils and 15mm compression fittings to the solar coil
