1) Biodegrades within 30-90 days. In commercial composting conditions, it will compost in approximately 45-60 days. Composting may take longer in a home composting bin.
2) Water and oil resistant. It is safe for boiling water and hot oil.
3) Sturdy and strong. It will withstand heat up to 400 for 30 minutes and minimum of 3 days if filled with cold water.
4) Healthy, nontoxic, harmless and sanitary. It conforms to US Food & Drug Administration guidelines
