The excellent clarity, high gloss and impact resistance make Styrolux? the preferred material for a wide range of applications, ranging from rigid packaging to optically demanding injection molded parts.

The choice in clear materials for blow-molded applications was previously restricted to a few products with a high density (e.g. PC, PETG, PVC). Styrolux? broadens the range of products on offer with a high transparent alternative. Styrolux? has the lower density typical of styrene plastics and combines this with the impact resistance required for most applications.

The ease in processing on customary blown film lines with faster cycle times make Styrolux? the material of choice for blow molded applications.

Within the Styrolux? product range 3G 46 and 684 D are in particular suited for extrusion blow molding. Depending on the requirements for the end product, Styrolux? offers the economic alternative for stylish conainers and especially for bottles with integral handle.
