Note that none of the insulated stainless mugs are recommended for use in microwave or dishwasher. The caution relates to possible damage to the seal due to expansion from the heat. That said, as long as you remove it from the dishwasher before or wash without the dry cycle, then it should be OK. I've run mine through quite a few times and I've seen no problems.

It's a very nicely made stainless, vacuum-sealed 14 oz cup. Leak-proof with three silicone seals to insure no spills. The nicest feature is the easy push-button open/close mechanism - just click to open/seal with a simple button located in the center of the cap. Very convenient and easy to operate one-handed while driving. The double-walled stainless interior and vacuum insulation is rated to keep things hot or cold for up to seven hours. Very comfortable to hold and drink from. Soft, non-slip grip. Fits most standard sized car cup holders.
