FORGED EYE BOLT

DO NOT EXCEED THE WORKING LOAD LIMIT
CONSULT THE MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Never undercut the eyebolt to seat against the load
Always countersink the receiving hole or utilize washers to help seat the eyebolt
Always screw the eyebolt down completely for proper seating
Always tighten nuts securely against the load
The threaded shank must protrude through the load sufficiently to allow full engagement of the nut
If the eyebolt protrudes so far through the load that the nut can not be properly tightened securely against the load, use the proper sized washers to help take up the space between the nut and the load.
The thickness of spacers must exceed this distance between the bottom of the load and the last thread of the eyebolt.
Place the washers between the nut and the load so that when the nut is torqued securely, the shoulder is secure against the load surface
