This bracket renders roofing bolts obsolete by replacing themwith thread forming screws which is a well proven method of fastening in many other industries. The screw is driven into a holein the bracket using an electric screwdriver (fitted with torquesetting) and the No.3 pozi bit provided. Using the No.2 pozi bit in the screwdriver, the bracket is fixed to thesubstrate using the 6mm plugs and 4.8x30mm flange head screwsprovided. The 6mm fixing plug gives a good fixing in most materials. When you purchase a box of 10 brackets all you require is thepower tool and a 6mm drill bit.
