The reinforced Acetal clamping fixtures are positioned along a 3/8 square aluminum tube. Reposition-able locking pins are provided for setting up the proper spacing for the clamping required.
Flexible plastic ties are employed to keep from loosing the locking pins. The clamp material is the same as used in the C Clamps. Three sizes are offered that can provide a maximum clamping width
of approximately 2 1/2, 9, and 13.
The clamp bases can be attached directly to a building board, thus eliminating the square aluminum tubing bar. Two mounting holes are provided at the bases of each clamping device.
The Sliding Bar clamp allows the clamping of components that are unusually far apart. Typically this could be clamping the sides of a fuselage to a bulkhead.
Three sizes of bar clamps provide clamping widths up to 2 1/2", 9" and 13". Bases on jaws have provisions for bench mounting. |
