This revolutionary fastening clip for steel studs is composed of 20 Ga. Spring Steel. It is used for all kinds of Deflection Track systems including Standard Sliptrack as well as Slotted Sliptrack. Simply put the "Comp Clip" (Compression Clip) around the steel stud and then slide it onto the deflection track or the floor track to hold the studs in place. It allows for 100% unobstructed movement. The Comp Clip is a faster and easier stud clip than most other on the market. It is available for both a 1 3/8" and a 1 5/8" width studs.
