Sofiya Engineering works the brain child of Adam Shaikh was founded in 1969 with a single lathe machine to grow in to a small industry with fairly well developed infrastructure to meet both domestic as well as international demand for engineered mechanical plus electrical components and spares.


Now his sons Farooque Adam Shaikh and Akil Adam Shaikh today heads the export division of the firm catering to all kinds of international requirements in engineering components and spares and has a well established client following in the middle east countries like Muscat, Dubai, Kuwait and kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With a turnover reaching 2.5 million us $ today has a fair share in contributing to the ever increasing demand for engineering products and spares at the same time is constantly striving to achieve high performance by meeting the demand for more sophisticated product and actively working towards quality improvement and upgradation of product feature.
