Blind Self Clinching Nuts

Blind self clinching nuts provide a strong reusable female thread in panels that are too thin to be conventionally tapped.Utilizing a special proven clinch feature, they have excellent torque out and push out characteristics whilst installing flush on the underside of the panel.The closed end 'blind' feature of this fastener gives the added benefit of sealing the component/threads against foreign matter and against the potentially damaging incursion of extra long screws - especially useful in electronic components with a risk of shorting.Like all self clinching fasteners they are installed using a parallel squeezing action so require access to both sides of the panel.Available as standard in steel & stainless steel with aluminium available to special order and in threads sizes m3 - m5 with m6 available to special order.
