An extrusion is a long length of rubber pushed through a mold plate in the shape of a tube, a P, D, U or other irregular shape. Greene Rubber has a large inventory of standard extrusions. Most standard extrusions are made from a neoprene compound between 45 65 durometer.

Many of these solutions could require specialty elastomer or include metal insert bonded directly to the elastomer which can improve installation ease and mechanical performance and avoid glue or adhesive inconsistencies. Production molding methods available are compression, transfer, LIM and injection.
