What if there was a product on the market that saved you at least $2 for every dollar that you spent- would you buy it? Of course you would! Well, such a product does exist and has for about 10 years. It is called the compact fluorescent light bulb, and it's been a well-kept secret. But now the secret is out! Compact fluorescents use about 25% of the electricity of an ordinary light bulb. What's more, they last up to 12 times as long. No ordinary fluorescent, the compact fluorescent provides a comfortable, incandescent-like quality of light. They burn cooler, too, producing about 20% as much heat as equivalent incandescent bulbs.
