- For colour effects in stage lighting, show-window lighting, festive lighting, bars, dance halls,etc.
Tubular low-pressure mercury vapour discharge lamps.The tube
wall is internally coated with a white fluorescent powder.
This powder converts the UV radiation produced by the
mercury gas discharge into visual radiation.
The fluorescent powder of/15 (red) and /16 (yellow) is
mixed with a pigment to filter out unwanted wavelenghts.
The lamps are to be operated on HF or switch-start circuits.
Depending on the control gear, dimming is possible.They are not
suitable for use in potentially explosive environments.
