Our T5-ballast assembly and T8-to-T5 series of Light Gear are designedwith elaborate safety  measures and end-of-lamp-life shutdown circuit that are all absent in CFL products. To fully  realise the advantage of T5 fluorescent lamps, we use the highest quality components to ensurelong life.

Moreover, old or damaged tubes can be replaced at low cost without throwing away the ballast together with each damaged tube.

As advocates of compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) champion for the replacement of incandescent lamps with CFL, we must remind the public that T5 tubes are about 50% more efficient than CFL and typically last longer.
