T5 tubes run much cooler than T8s. Therefore less load on your air-conditioning which in turn reduces air conditioning running costs
A one star increase in the green rating of your building can automatically increase the book value of your asset by up to 20%. Retro fitting our IFRs to your building will assist in achieving a star rating at the lowest commercial cost.

As the result of stringent QA practices and use of quality branded subcomponents in our IFR Adaptors, failure rates on installation are less than .001% and average life is in excess of 35,000 hours
This is a term applied to electronic components and equipment. 95% of faults will occur in the first 2 hours of operation of electronic equipment. Every IFR Adaptor is powered with its tube in place for a minimum of 2 hours prior to packing and shipping.
To meet Australian standards the insulation on the adaptors has to withstand a voltage of 4,200v without the insulation breaking down. This test is carried out on 100% of our Adaptors prior to packing and shipping.
Prior to packing and shipment, every IFR Adaptor is subject to a rigorous inspection process, this includes-;

Our standard Ballast allows for 10,000 switching cycles and our high performance ballast enables 80,000 switching cycles (Note High Performance ballast produced to order only minimum production qty 10,000 units)

SAFTEY FEATURES
T8 tubes are brightest after 100 hours after this they start to break down resulting in less light. After approx 5000 hours the light produced can be as low as 50% of the original output. Our tubes continue to output light at 90% throughout the entire tube life.
The IFR does not use starters this means no more annoying flicker or huge influx of energy when starting. This will help reduce demand factors on customers electricity bill.
A standard T8 tube produces a Ra factor of 40. - This colour index is how the human eye sees light. The IFR bulb has a Ra factor of 85 over twice that of a standard T8 tube. This simply allows our eyes to see more light than before.
The IFR comes with two tube options:
Most fluoro tubes have a recommended life span of 10,000 hours. Some do not even achieve this.
Through the installation of the IFR Carbon emissions will be reduced. This is over 150 tonnes of carbon saved per year for every 500 light fittings through the installation of the IFR system.
Fitting IFRs into an existing fitting will save you up to 70% of the price when compared to a new T5 light fitting.
The IFR can be fitting into nearly all existing fluorescent applications, Its as simple as changing a bulb as the light fits into the existing fitting.
The standard T8 fluoro light on average produces 2800-2900 lumens per tube but a twin produces 494 lux at 1.7m distance and 312 lux at 2.4m. A twin IFR28R T8-T5 Adaptor produces between 2650-2900 lumens per tube but produces 510 lux at 1.7 m and 322 at 2.4m.
The IFR uses 55 watts per hour (including tubes and ballast)
An average twin light fitting uses 86 watts per hour (including tubes and ballast)
On 500 light fittings this represents a savings up to $20,000 pa.
