This simple, highly functional lamp made of fine porcelain, with an air of simplicity that matches both classic and modern decorating styles, is based on a 1982 design by the Danish designer Erik Magnussen. Equipped with a halogen illuminant (G 9, 40 W), it is far more efficient than the original version that used a conventional light blb. It radiates warm, golden light; the deeply recessed socket prevents glare and results in excellent colour rendering. When it is not in use, the lamp shade is pure white.
