ELETRO LUMINESCENCE
Electro luminescence (EL) lighting is a film composite consisting of phosphor coated between electrodes and encased in protective polyester (usually less than 0.5 mm in thickness). An alternating
field (AC Current) is applied to the electrodes at a high frequency and voltage causing the phosphor to emit uniform coloured light.
Applications
- Portable Electronics and backlights.
- Lighting for Automotive and Aircraft Applications.
- Signs and Advertising.
- Architectural and Decorative.
