Kubus facade luminaires

The outdoor luminaires of the Kubus range feature powerful light sources in extremely compact, discreet packaging - true to ERCO?s maxim of "Light, not luminaires". The design of the Kubus range works universally with square housings using different lighting technologies to accentuate facades, illuminate pathways near buildings or to assist orientation in open areas by using bollard luminaires. The safety glasses fitted within the luminaires produce flush surfaces that are easy to clean. By using recessed housing versions, the Kubus can be discreetly integrated into architecture. The combination of reflectors/lenses for Kubus luminaires results in precise and efficient light emissions without spill light and ensures optimum visual comfort. Two lighting technologies for the floor washlights meet different requirements: for pathway lighting, the oval, long light beam parallel to the pathway marks the way as a band of light. The Floor washlights for open area lighting by contrast direct their light onto a larger area in front of the wall to create required light for areas such as entrances or terraces. The facade luminaires, on the other hand, produce grazing light which is directed upward. High-power LEDs of 3 x 1W with compact housing dimensions produce excellent lighting effects.
