Golux 5/2 (GL5/2)

The Golux 5 series Exn and D.I.P. luminaries are versatile, rugged and economical high intensity discharge floodlight fixtures. Supplied complete with integral control gear for use with Mercury Vapour, Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium lamps up to 400 watt, all factory installed and fully tested with lamp as supplied. Packed complete andready to install.

Features

Both body and cover are made of heavy duty one-piece pressure die cast low copper content aluminium or stainless steel fabricated fitting type GL5
Hinged cover for ease of access to integral ballast and capacitor
Thermal shock and impact resistant glass lens
Gaskets are of heavy duty, high temperature silicon rubber
Porcelain heavy duty ES40 socket with spring loaded centre contact and brass nickel plated double lamp grip screw shell
High grade dimpled, pure aluminium reflector

Applications

The Golux 5 with a variety of mounting arrangements is designed for general purpose floodlighting in medium and large areas, security lighting, industrial process lighting and other areas requiring:

Group II Zone 2 hazardous gas area certification
Group II (D.I.P.) hazardous dust area certification
Indoor and outdoor arduous location suitability (IP 66)
