Principal Features Spotlight or floodlight versions An extremely weatherproof fitting - IP66 Robust construction - 20 year guarantee on body & gearbox Description Construction: The body consists of two die cast LM6alumium castings, fastened together with three stainless steel screws. The body is powder coated black, grey or green. Two stainless steel bolts hold the galvanized stirrup bracket to the body. Control gear: The choke, capacitor and ignitor ( when required ) are fastened to a removable geartray in the Gearbox. All control gear is SABS/IEC approved. Power factor corrected >0.85. Lampholder: GES, ES or BC porcelain as required Front glass: 5mm heat tempered, impact resistant glass, fitted over silicone gasket, to ensure a weatherproof seal. Electrical connection: A Three way 15 amp connector block is provided in the gear compartment. A nylon compression gland allows access to the control gear. All internal wiring 1mm silicone covered. Reflector system: High purity aluminium, anodized and chemically brightened used in both versions. Spot light version uses a smooth reflector material, whilst the flood light version has a shaped reflector. Beam spreads differ slightly between the various lamp options. Mounting: Standard fitting with stirrup bracket is suitable for mounting to a wall or frame. The fitting may be partially submerged in a garden for upward lighting of trees or building facades.
