A new range of assymmetrical, high efficiency floodlights, suitable for security, highmast and sports fields..Principle Features A new range of asymmetric floodlights with SABS 1279 compliance. IEC 60598 approved. Narrow or wide beam versions. Dust and moisture proof-IP66. (lamp & gear compartments) Die cast LM6 aluminium head piece - powder coated. Die cast LM6 aluminium gearbox - powder coated. Helicoil inserts as standard. Optional nylon conduit to to protect cabtire from harsh enviroments, birds, etc. Robust construction, 20 year guarantee on body and gearbox. GES porcelain Lampholder Description Construction: The headpiece, control box and lampholder cup are die cast LM6 aluminium, powder coated for a corrosion resistant finish. All external nuts and corner clamps are manufactured in stainless steel. Stirrup bracket is galvanized steel. Control gear: The choke, capacitor and ignitor ( when required ) are fastened to a removable geartray in the gearbox. All control gear is SABS/IEC approved. Power factor corrected >0.85 Front glass: 5mm heat tempered, impact resistant glass, fitted over a silicone gasket Electrical connection: A three way 15 amp connector block is provided in the gear compartment. Silicone covered cabtire is used between gearbox and lampholder. All internal wiring 1mm silicone covered. Reflector system: Wide beam uses dimpled material with a maximum intensity of >665 cd/klm. Narrow beam uses smooth material with a maximum intensity of >2050 cd/klm. Beam spreads are asymmetrical and vary slightly between different lamp types. Mounting version: Standard fitting with stirrup bracket is suitable for mounting to a wall or frame. Non integral versions are available where the control gear is not attached to the headpiece.
