Low windage area Robust construction - 20 years guarantee on body Description Construction: The body is a single die cast aluminium casting, power coated gray. The glass is fastened with four stainless steel corner brackets. Control gear: The choke, capacitor and ignitor ( when required ) are fastened to a removable gear tray in the main body. All control gear is SABS/IEC approved. Power factor corrected >0.85. Lampholder: ES, BC or PL porcelain as required. Front glass: 4mm heat tempered, impact resistant glass, fitted over a silicone gasket, to ensure a weatherproof seal. Electrical connection: A three way 15 amp connector block is provided in the gear compartment. A nylon compression gland allows access to the control gear. All internal wiring 1mm silicone covered. Reflector system: High purity aluminium, anodized and chemically brightened in dimple finish for a wide beam distribution.Beam spreads differ slightly between the various lamp options. Mounting: Standard fitting with stirrup bracket is suitable for mounting to a wall or frame. An additional pole mounting bracket is available for mounting on poles from 75 to 200mm.
