With the indirect lighting configuration, color filters placed in the optical assembly can create special effects. Equipped with a lamp up to 175 W, the Alura can be installed at  ranging from 10 (3.0 m) to 15 feet (4.6 m).

The Alura is available in an indirect or a direct lighting model. In both versions, symmetrical or asymmetrical light distributions are available. All have an  rated optical chamber.
