1) Lamp Life - unlike conventional incandescent or discharge lamps, induction lamps do not require a filament or electrodes to ignite. Life expectancy for these lamps is around 100,000 hours, with a superior lumen maintenance to discharge lamps.
2) Colour - induction Lamps have a rendering index of RA80+ with a colour temperature of 2500-6400k.
3) Warm-Up/Restrike Time - there isn't a warm-up or restrike time. It is instant, even in temperatures as a low as -35 degrees C or as high as 50 degrees C.
3) Efficacy - Induction Lamps generally are rated at 90 lumens per watt, similar to conventional metal halide lamps, without the lumen depreciation.
4) Operating Voltage - LVD Induction Lamps will not drop out the way that a normal discharge lamp will, even at 75 volts or as high as 320 volts. If it does drop out it will immediately re-strike upon restoration of its operating voltage range.
5) Flexiblity - The Induction Lamp is available in several configurations and wattages, ranging from 20w to 200W.
6) Colour Shift - There is none.
7) Stroboscopic Effect - There is none.
8) Flicker - There is none. Power Factor Correction - 0.99.
