HUGA's LED chip is famous for its electrostatic discharge (ESD) in addition to high brightness. The test statistics of HUGA's products ESD is higher than its competitors' equivalent product offerings. HUGA is ranked the top two in ESD among Taiwan's LED producers.
HUGA's product strategy is to develop high brightness, high power LEDs covering the majority of the wavelength spectrum. High brightness products accounted for more than 80% of its 2006 turnover.
