Super Flux LEDs are speciallydeveloped for sunlight applications like traffic control lights, automobilebrake lights, and outdoor signs. Super flux LEDs are ideal forretrofit applications where replacement of existing incandescent light bulbs isdesired thanks to factors like more uniform illumination, 90% reduction inpower consumption and 10 times more longer life.  Super flux LEDs can be used to simulate pointlight source for enhanced optical performance. They exhibit more flickerresistance and reduce current draw and their 5+year life reduces maintenancecosts.

For lower input currentapplications, the connector uses only two terminals of the LED. In the case ofhigher current outdoor requirements, four terminals are used, providing aneffective heat sink.

Super flux LEDs operate at currentlevels as high as 170ma to deliver brightness output of about 25,000mcd. TheseSuper flux LEDs can also operate at the lower current levels of 20 ma wherebrightness output falls to 3,000 mcd.
