Table lamp is solid Apricot wood. The piece is V shaped on a solid Apricot base. One side of lamp is the lighting , the other is a small table to hold a picture, book, drink ect. Apricot wood is getting scarce, but it is still one of my most favored woods to work with. The color and character of this very hard fruitwood are incredible. I make other Apricot wood products, ie: floor lamps, single branch table/desk lamps. I have even built for a customer, a freestanding bathroom tissue holder/dispenser, out of Apricot
