Create-A-Lamp Concept: An interactive Lamp that enables the consumer to create his own lamp with the use of technology: DIGITAL PHOTOS & HOME PRINTERS. Product not only fulfils a practical function of providing light, but is memorable & meaningfulTo the user. Create-A-Lamp is supplied with photo editing & Printing software CD- ROM & clear adhesive inkjet acetate paper. The user takes pictures on a digital camera or camera phone, then edits the photos with using the software, prints them onto the transparent photo paper and sticks them onto the discs on the lamp to create his own uniquely personalised lamp. 3rd Place winner of Student Lighting Design Awards 2006 run by the Lighting Association.
