From its inception, the EZ Grocery Bag was made because one Reno housewife encountered the pollution, and mammal deaths caused by the ingestion of plastic and wanted to do something about it and make a difference. In windy Nevada, there are hundreds and hundreds of plastic bags lining the desert roadways out of town, not to mention hundreds of thousands of mammals that die every year by ingesting them (National Geographic, Strange Days On Planet Earth.)
