Worldwide, the answer to such human tragedy is usage of quenched and tempered reinforcement bars conforming ASTM A321/90 (2001) which ensures high yield strength (75,00 PSI) and 18-22% elongation (high ductility) to resist shear forces of an earthquake.
Earth quake is a natural disaster phenomenon which generates tremendous shear forces that could create catastrophe in seconds. In order to reduce the seismic risk and high social and economical impact, the structural engineers-worldwide, after years of research, have restricted usage of reinforcement steel bars with low ductility (elongation less than 14%) in earth quake prone areas.

CTD bars rolled from rusty ship scrape or rolled from billets melted in induction furnace with uncontrolled chemistry. CTD bars with high yield strength of 66,000 PSI exceed the requirements of
British standards. The superior yield and Tensile strength is achieved by using low carbon refined steel billets and precision controlled cold twisted process.
DEFORMED STEEL BARS:
Deformed steel bars are produced from superior quality billet manufactured by Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and Ladle Refining process (LRF) by achieving a unique chemical composition and thus
achieving higher tensile properties after hot rolling. The bars go through many quality tests in our in-house state-of-the-art laboratories with most modern equipment.
CARBON STEEL BARS:
