Close JSC "Perm Oil Machine Engineering Company" has the capabilities to manufacture tubings in full compliance with the requirements of GOST 63380. The techology includes the whole complex of operations: incoming inspection, gauging, threading, assembling, hydraulic testing, marking and packing. 1.During the incoming inspection extra tests are carried out on test specimens to determine their mechanical properties, i.e. to verify the certification data on the class of strength of the product lot. 2. Threading is made on updated universal lathes by Sandvik chasers, providing topquality thread profile. One hundred per cent inspection is carried out not only with plain and thread gauges but also with special insruments, determining taper, depth of thread and thread pitch. Periodic inspection of the quality of the threaded ends in all parameters is performed in an independent metrological laboratory. The threaded ends are additionally hardened by a method of plastic deformation. The designed tool (rolling tool) allows to reduce surface roughness by 20% and to increase microhardness of lateral surfaces by 36...42%, and that of thread roots -by 45...55%. The introduction of thread profile hardening operations has permitted to essentially increase the number of makes of tubing joints.
