The stainless steel pipe you see here is from automotive exhausts. The alloys are 409 and 304, all segregated. The accumulations are approximately 50% 304 and 50% 409. The pipes are random lengths between 8 feet up to 18 feet. Most of the pipes are round although 5% of the material is rectangular.The pipes are roll-formed from stainless coil strip and are laser welded. The tubes pictured here are not of secondary quality, but they are just too short. The production length is a minimum of 18 feet.The tubes are mostly 2 to 4 inches in diameter.
