Note: Grey shadedarea indicates standard motor horsepower. The evaporative coolershall be a self contained, single housing unit consisting of a minimum of a"wet section" and "fan section". The "wetsection" shall consist of cooling media, water delivery system and anyselected accessories. The "fan section" shall consist of a fan(blower), motor, drive arrangement and any selected accessories to deliverspecified air volume against specified static pressure. The wet sectionand fan section shall be constructed from Stainless Steel grade 304 unlessotherwise specified. 1.0 HOUSING 1.1 The "fansection" shall be constructed from Stainless Steel, grade 304 natural 2Bbright finish. The entire housing shall be constructed in one piece andsupported on special designed hat sections built into the housing floor. The housingshall be airtight and waterproof. 1.2 A lift-off or hingedaccess panel shall be provided in the fan housing with an opening of 20"wide X 60" high, or height of fan housing if less than 60" high. The access panel shall be formed topreclude air or water leakage into the interior of the housing. Theopening shall be in line with the blower to allow for service of the motor,belt adjustment, bearings and possible shaft replacement. Double access panels(one full size panel on each side of dry housing) are available as option. 1.3 The wet section(evaporative cooling module) shall be constructed from Stainless Steel grade304 consistent with the fan section. It shall consist of a sump, sidesand top. A side lift-off panel for media access and service of the floatvalve assembly for make up water shall be provided on model 160. A top removable panel is provided for othermodels. Removal and replacement of the media can be made through either aside lift off panel or top removal. The wet section shall be permanently attachedto the fan section housing by mechanical fasteners or welding. Internal components of the wetsection shall be cooling media, water delivery system, internal plumbingincluding a header pipe, make-up water, overflow and drain fittings.
