Compared to the dual metal tubes produced by the traditional productionprocess--the mechanical compounding,the metallurgical composite metaltubes produced by the process of centrifugal
casting + extruding + coldrolling have better production superiority.
Metallurgicalcomposite metal tubes produced by the method of centrifugal castinghave the followings incomparable advantages,including:
1.theprocess of centrifugal casting adopt the technology of solvation andsolidification of the two materials in the molten state,thus a realmetallurgical bonding is realized.
2.in the process of centrifugalcasting,the molten steel is brought to solidifying and forming at agravity decades times much more than that of produced in the commoncasting,so the porosity
in cast tube blank can be eliminated and a highdensity of metal achieved; furthermore,a good result of deslagging anddegassing is obtained,the gas and the inclusions content in steel ismuch less
than that of the steel produced by traditional process(thesmelting condition is the same).
3.high dimensional accuracy andhomogeneous wall thickness of the casting blank provide the guaranteefor the dimensional accuracy of the subsequent-worked product.
4.inthe production of tube with small lot,many sorts,many sizes,highquality,and high added value,the centrifugal casting process has a highflexibility.
5.during the production of composite dual metaltube,the materials and its thickness of the base and the lining layermay be changed accordingly,so as to meet the requirements for
variousapplications.
