SPECIFICATIONSConfirming to IS:4985:2000 with rubber ring joint as per ISO 4422 or DIN 8062 or IS:5382-85.INSTALLATION PROCEDURESpigot end is provided with 150 chamfer for full length pipe. It cut lengths are to be used, then deburr the spigot end after cutting at site and provide 150 chamfer, using file.Mark insertion depth on spigot.Clean the socket and ensure that elastomeric sealing ring is properly installed in it's grove without twist.Apply lubricant on the spigot.Slide the spigot into socket thus compressing the sealing lips. In case of large diameter of pipes, use pipe jack.
