Steel Rolled Rings

In the ring-rolling section of Public JSC "Constar" steel rings of rectangular and shaped cross-section are produced. Rings are made of carbon, alloy, high-alloy steel, extra heat-resistant alloys on nickel basis as well as titanium alloys.Forgeries are fabricated with "Thyssen Rheinstal Technik GmbH" (Germany) equipment that includes: Forgery press with capacity 4000 ton; Ring-rolling mill with radial reduction force of 315 ton and 260 ton of reduction by height of rings; Chamber gas furnaces with hearth area 8 m2 applied for warming-up of forgeries for punching and rolling; Manipulators with capacity of 600 kg for transmission of forgeries between the units of the rolling line. The unique construction of the press and automated operation of forgery process allow to produce large-capacity forgeries-stampings, i.e. for turbine and compressor disks, gudgeons, shafts with central thickness.Delivery of rolled work pieces is done: non-machined, with tolerances up to 6 mm aside; rough machined; with complete spare parts production, including final heat treatment and all kinds of test-runs.
