Steel Plates

Steel PlatesSteel Plates are offered in ASTM-A36 Standard with thickness between 16,00mm to 50,00mm. Plates are rolled products with thickness larger than 500mm, classified as plates (thickness larger than 5mm) and sheets (thickness smaller than 5mm). Steel plates are generally used for manufacturing welded sections, but can also be used, depending on the availability of proper bending devices, for cold sections. They can be divided by application, in which structural steels are indicated for mechanical industry, warehouses, buildings, agricultural and roadway machinery, galvanizing pots, among other uses.
