Duplex Steel Plates

Our range of duplex plates are widely used in different industries including construction, engineering and fabrication of rolled or welded rings. These steel plates contain relatively high levels of chromium (between 18% to 28%) and low to moderate amounts of nickel. The duplex grades of steel have enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance compared to stainless steels or conventional duplex alloys. Duplex steel plates have a higher mechanical strength which enables it to be used in thinner cross-sections providing cost savings to the end user.
