OffShore Steel Plate

This grade of steel plate was originally designed for the use in production for offshore fixed and floating production platforms where strength and material integrity is required in several dimensions. It is regulated by the American Petroleum Institute and in some cases certified by ABS (American Bureau of Shipbuilding). Because of its stringent restrictions API has also been adapted in many other applications such as Base rings / Cylinders for Crane production, Piling for severe application on Bridge Construction and for Fracture Critical applications in areas where resistance to vibration and torque are necessary.
