ALUMINOX FEED MATERIAL

Availability of Aluminox is in the order of 500 Mt per month

Aluminox is feed material for aluminium smelting. It is a cost effective
feed for mixing with Alumina  (blending rate maximum 1 part Aluminox &
10 parts Alumina, recommended rate 1 part Aluminox & 19 parts Alumina)
.Then this mixed material is to be fed into aluminum smelting pots.
 
Aluminox - Principal components  Al2O3  & metallic Al.The combination of
these 2 components are equivalent to minimum 70% Alumina.Average 80 %
Alumina.
Normal 1 ton Alumina  smelted produces 500 kgs Al metal Aluminox 1 ton
should  when smelted produce 350 Kgs to 400 kgs Al metal.
But it must be mixed with normal Alumina prior to feeding in the
pots.(in the proportion mentioned above)
 
Aluminox , is a competatively priced product which when mixed with
Alumina average down the cost of feed for smelters.
 
Aluminox also contains on average10 % minimum by weight , Cryolite. This
material will enhance the "Bath " in the pot This is another bonus for
the smelter Product will be in 1  to 2 ton Bulka bags Sizing Less than
300 micron
