Since, Cast Iron products are usually pre-stressed due to not uniform cooling at different depths.  Therefore, the factory stress-relieve all these castings using electric furnace with temperature which can reach 1,200^oC.

MOFAC recently installed two electrical induction furnaces each with a capacity of 3 tons per hour for melting steel and iron using the box less molding method which is based on using resin-bonded sand system to guarantee good quality.

MOFAC is one among the largest licensed Cast Iron factories in the Kingdom, well equipped and located in the industrial city of Riyadh on a land of 12,375 Sq.M in area and have a hanger covered area of 4,000 Sq.M.

The Modern Factory for Casting and Sanitary Fittings (MOFAC), is located in Riyadh second industrial city and has a production capacity of 8,000 tons of Manholes covers Road gratings, Channel gratings, Tree gratings, Catch Basin Grates, Roof & Floor Drains made of cast iron (flake graphite cast iron). The authorized capital is SR.7, 860, 000 and has a working force of 85 skilled workers including engineers, foremen etc.
