Characteristics
A Rare Earth element called Neodymium (17 : atomic number #21, #39, #5771), that consists of oxidized steel and boron: B, has very strong magnetic energy and is used numerously in small and state of the art products. The uses of Neodymium in many fields are expanding because it is cheaper compared to SmCo magnets. But it has low thermal characteristics and oxidization prevention should be considered, so the surface of the product must be taken good care of.
