Gravity die-casting

The major advantage of gravity die-casting is the availability of the permanent mould. It is an environmentally friendly process and prevents recurring costs of raw materials that are necessary for processes such as precision casting and sand casting, in which for each new cast the form has to be sacrificed and made again. Above all, the cast is very accurate, which eliminates much finishing

The gravity die into which the product is poured is manufactured by milling, machining and sanding.

Gravity die-casting is an extremely suitable process for small to medium sized production runs in various aluminium and brass alloys.

The unit weight of the products vary from a couple of grams right through to 10 kg.
