- We supply both standard sheets and cut to size welded steel fabric/wire mesh.
- Wire mesh has been in use as prefabricated reinforcement for reinforced concrete construction. The product is flexbile due to the fact that it can come in both standard size and cut to size and as such has time and cost saving advantages.
- The wire mesh sheets are electrically welded which fuses the intersecting wires into a homogeneous section without any loss of tensile strength or area.
- The two Malaysian Standards prepared by SIRIM relevant to steel welded wire mesh are MS144:2001 and MS145:2001 for for hard drawn wires and for steel wires respectively.
- The term 'standard size' refers to fabric manufactured in either sheet form which is 6.00 metres length by 2.20 metres width or roll form which is 40.00 metres length by 2.20 metres width. However, roll form fabric can only be produced for wire diameter of 6.0mm and below.
- The term 'cut-to-size dimension' refers to wire mesh manufactured to any required dimensions to suit drawings of the construction project. These cut-to-size mesh would eliminate wastage and save labour and time costs.
