Twill weave : Contrary to plain weave, two lines of the main and cross wires are interweaved alternatedly. This type of weave will be chosen primarily when the wire diameter is rather thick in proportion to the aperture, or when the cloth is so fine that the cross wire does not withstand the stress of crimping during weaving in plain weave.
