Fiber glass Panel Filters The Glass Fiber media is coated with a Special Adhesive which is applied evenly at a measured rate to assure maximum filtration, this adhesive is colorless and odorless, will not run, drip, or evaporate.

The filters are constructed utilizing non-viscous fiber glass media of continuous-filament fibers approximately 21 micrometers in diameter, bonded together with a thermo
setting resin, the media is formed in a progressive-density pattern such that the fiber density increases from the upstream (dirty) side to the downstream side where a skin or mat is formed, Those unique feature of Fiber Panel Filters further increases itsability to collect air particles as they pass threw the media makingthis filter an Ideal Pre-filter for higher efficiency filters, GAFCO'sPanel Filters are constructed from a moisture-resistant cardboard framewith steel retainers, standard frames come in 1 and 2 nominalthicknesses.

In practice, however, two indicators are used to determine the need for servicing: a 10%
decrease in air flow, or an increase in resistance of two to three times the initial resistance. The intervals between replacements vary with the application, type of filters and stage of application.
